Our Story
As a first year university student, adapting to my new schedule, workload, and independence was a struggle. The only thing that kept me sane was my calendar.
I planned everything, using multiple tools to try and stay on track – an appointment book for weekly tasks, a monthly calendar for big assignments and exams, and my Apple calendar to remind me of each upcoming deadline. It took me hours at the beginning of each semester to get organized, and still, I lost sight of big projects, missed deadlines, and scrambled to catch up.
Eventually, I adjusted to my workload, but inevitably, there was always something new to take on, whether it was another deadline, a new campus job opportunity, or a social event that required another tedious change and another adjustment.
The more I grew, the more I needed to plan out my schedule, and the more time planning took away from achieving my goals. I wished there was a tool that would do everything for me, but I never found it, so I decided to create it.
I’ve poured my heart into making Stratify as helpful, intuitive, and seamless as possible so that other university students can stop planning and start acheiving. However, there is always room for growth.
